He’s casting the hereditary chiefs in the spot of all natives who have been ignored and he’s riding in to be the government that finally fixes this relationship. But they’re not the elected chiefs, they’re using terrorist tactics and now is not the time to be speaking of reconciliation. They’re hurting indiginous people’s livelihoods as much as everyone else. In fact it’s probably ven more damage to indiginous who have signed agreements with this developer worth hundreds of millions.
