Real ice cream… through the 60’s I had an uncle that sold his dairy cream right directly to the local Dairy Queen, in Saskatchewan. He unloaded on the dock in the back alley. His brother-in-law sold his chickens two doors down to Kentucky Fried Chicken.
I think it all came to an end around ’72-73… DQ got their own “ice milk” and Kentucky Feather got their own skinny factory farmed chicken.
