Who would have thought that a little native girl would grow up to tear down a Government she was part of? The new Leadership race starts on Thursday…

Really? I get very offended when I see comments about JWR aboriginal heritage or gender being brough up in this scandal. Especially if the remark is degrading. It really does not matter a hill of beans unless they are trying to play some angle. JWR has demonstrated the highest level of integrity. JWR is brave just like a rape victim coming forward to tell her side of the story. If you really want to play the “girl” angle, how about this. We know she was “pressured” by white men. So is that sexual harassment in the work place because she is a woman and they are all men badgering her? Let’s not get side tracked by petty cultural orientation or gender. JWR held her ground, gave direct responses and stood her ground. She has my greatest respect.

Well our Marxist overlords flog all these identity points – her nativeness, her girliness – that is why we have the bimbo cabinet. They constantly flog this shit so that can accumulate virtue signalling tokens. So gender, time of day etc. is all fair game.
BTW: some of the most heinous pieces of legislation have been passed under her watch (eg. Bill C-16). She deserves no respect.

Trudeau is a liar hiding behind solictor-client privilege not allowing Raybould to discuss anything from January on when trudeau axed her from the AG

Ethics commissioner will do nothing, bring in public inquiry which Trudeau doesn’t want. Bring in the RCMP. Raybould is credible, numb nuts isn’t

She does deserve our respect. She could have chosen Bill C-16 to be the hill her political career as AG would die on, but she did not. Her testimony illustrates a clear culture set by JT and the PMO, on not just SNC Lavalin, but as something that likely permeates in ALL things the government proposes and puts forward.

JWR does not strike me as a gender bending advocate, that has JTs finger prints all over it.

JWR likely picked up very early on the pattern of conduct within the PMO and the cabinet, and decided to be on high alert. The SNC Lavalin incident coincides with the induction of the Liberals as the majority government, and so it was probably clear from very early on that the government would attempt to do something to intervene on behalf of SNC.

Sliding the DPA legislation into the budget bill was not that big of a deal as the decision to use it rests with the AG and the DPP. Legislation can be partially repealed/amended/scrapped all together so that’s merely a function of process. JWR strategized that the government would push to use the new tool they slipped in the back door, so this entire time and I would say dating back to the discussions around the DPA itself were part of a large case building.

She is after all a former prosecutor, and knows how to construct a case to ensure a conviction is attained. The point I’m making here, is if she had made a mountain out of a mole hill (C-16) she could not have been around in her capacity as AG in order to build the case for government corruption, and JT would have just sailed through all of this unphased and likely would have won the upcoming election.

JT’s virtue signaling has cost him not just his leadership of the party but of his very political career. It will be very interesting to see if there are any caucus back benchers that will vote in favor of no confidence in the government after the motion is brought forward in the HoC by the CPC. JWR will either vote in favor of no confidence as a continued member of caucus if JT doesn’t have the balls to remove her, or if he does, will vote in favor of no confidence as a sitting independent.

I thought JWR came off really well. None of those Kavannaugh shenanigans, no fake tears, just raw facts.

After seeing as much as I could take of the Tru-d’oh response, I really understand that smug white guy smile that had libs up in arms during the Covington fiasco.

There was an interesting question also after her testimony/open statement that was asked by Lisa Raitt, and that was if Jody Wilson-Raybould had any recommendations for the judicial committee. Her answer was that this situation illustrates a potential need for the bifurcation of the two roles, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada.

In fact I would even go so far as to suggest that Attorney General of Canada should NOT be given to ANY partisan politician, it should be it’s own office independent of the Prime Minister’s office, as well as the government cabinet.

    Excuse me!?!

Get off your SJW pot for a second. I said this in a kind way extrapolating how the weak can become so very strong when they stand for what is right. If you want to shit all over me for pointing out the obvious, you should listen to JWR herself in her talk with the Justice committee stating that people with her background have a much tougher time in growing up in Canada than others, referring to the Native population. I was admiring her for her strength and fortitude. I suspect you are nothing like her to attack me in this way.

But I forgive you, as you completely misunderstood me from where I was coming from.
