Kim Campbell should crawl back under her rock. She is one of Canada’s biggest “has beens”.

    Prime Minister for a day.

In the 2015 campaign, the name “Harper” was used by the red team against the blue team in the same way the blue team is now using the name “Trudeau” against the red team in this campaign. It is a hit politically, imho. Kim Campbell is a globalist and they stick together. She goes nowhere until (ugg!) PM Scheer appoints her elsewhere.

From a persuasion perspective, repeating your opponents name is a deathly mistake. One Hillary Clinton made enthusiastically and repeatedly in her campaign. ‘Love TRUMPS hate?’ WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING? IF Scheer could have a slogan that read ‘I’m not Justin Trudeau, i’m way better than Justin Trudeau’ i’m sure he would. But it’s a big error, because Scheer is mostly unknown. The only thing people will remember about the tweet is that it was about Justin Trudeau. Nothing else. Vaguely bad things about him. But that’s not enough to win this information war. And the memes aren’t sticky.

Clarification needed please. Are you referring to Campbell’s tweet and if so, how is that related to Justin Trudeau?

I respectfully disagree. In this group hate-on atmosphere politically, you pound on the problem in voters mind, Trudeau, you will get the soft votes. If you just refer to the opposition by party name, you will lose the soft vote. Saying Trudeau’s name to most voters re-enforces “who” the problem is, like how “Harper” was the problem in 2015. It will most likely work now like it did then.
