No I was thinking yesterday, that if Chrystia Freeland really wanted to throw Trudeau under the bus, she should have given the fall economic statement and then immediately, same speech, publicly quit cabinet & read her resignation letter. Then she would have created a confidence vote by reading the FES. An election could be called and Trudeau could have been removed as leader immediately. I’m also puzzled at why the liberal Constitution says that a leader cannot be removed, that is a recipe for tyranny. What an utter mess Canada is in.
She can’t be PM if there is an immediate election with Justin staying on as Leader. She needed his resignation, without the government falling, then a leadership race that would give Jagmeet his excuse to continue propping the government up. She could win the leadership race, be PM, and get geared up for a fall election… as PM. Destroying her party would not serve her self-interest. She may be glitchy, but she’s far from being a moron.
I can see your point, but in what delusional world does she live in that makes her think she would ever be prime minister in an which rigged election? I told my sister yesterday Chrystia should have been fired a long time ago and no I don’t mean let go of her job, I mean burned at the stake.🔥🧙♀️

I believe Trudeau arranged with the party 9 years ago the current leadership arrangement. Can’t be replaced.
At least two times Trudeau has asked for full authority during whatever crisis there was at the moment covid and was denied by Parliament.
Throughout Trudeau’s rain there has been an unusual field of protection around him that no other prime minister has enjoyed nothing touches him.

Trump is in for 4 years and then who knows they could have another Biden/Harris type Admin. Would you feel the same if Trudeau was already out, Max Bernier was Prime Minister and SANITY rained supreme? This too shall pass, it’s temporary. What a windfall it would be for the US to acquire Canada, we have more to offer them than they have to offer us. I’ll agree that the majority of Canadians patriotism has waned but I don’t think that they would trade what they have in Canada to become part of the USA, heck we can’t even get Quebec to leave.😁
Yup. my wife and i talked about that tonight. No 1st, or 2nd amendments and you can bet that NO kanuckezuelan politician would ever dare to do the work to make us a Constitutional republic. Until that happens upper and lower canada rule. along with that and our full of appointed scum senate, the west gets bent over.
as far as a 4 year mandate, I’ll take my chances with a stable 12 year MAGA term. Alberta would do well in the U.S. unlike the abuse we’ve taken since 1905 from kanuckezuela.
